This was the ideal location to stay for my first trip to Krakow. A quiet, boutique hostel which felt more like a hotel given it's comfort, location and cleanliness. I stayed in the twin room and felt like a queenThe free breakfast and tea/coffee was much appreciated. Staff were also very helpful.I will definitely stay here next time I'm in town.
Just outside the old city wall, about a 20 minute walk from the central station really close to the river and the Wawel Castle as well. Welcoming staff had plenty of recommendations for a Krakow first-timer and the room was very clean and well furnished with comfortable beds. Not just IKEA stuff, these folks pay attention to detail, there's even a HiFi in the common room for you to plug in your tunes, but definitely not a party hostel. I shared a room with my buddy and we both had plenty of space and even a small table for writing/eating/thinking. Nice balcony in the the courtyard for smokers or just enjoying some night air. The kitchen was stocked with some homemade yogurt, cornflakes, polish bread, plenty of mocca coffee machines. We didn't do any cooking since we were so focused on pierogies, but all the utensils/pots etc were there and clean/ready to go if we wanted to.There's not always an attendant there, so if you're arriving at a weird time I think you have to contact them in advance to set that up, but we arrived midday and there was someone on duty.
A friend of mine and I stayed in Travellers Inn Hostel for 2 nights in a twin room. The room was spacious and super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Wifi is available in the whole hostel. The hostel located at the safe and quiet street, 5 minutes walk from the river, Wawel castle, and the main square. Close to most of the attractions and restaurants. The shared bathroom/shower/toilet was very clean all the time, and hot water was available whenever we used the bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, plus different breakfast items were offered.Thank you for your hospitality. I can not wait to stay in this hostel again.
I previously stayed in 2013 when travelling with my mother and when planning a return visit to Krakow this was the first place I looked for.The location is so central to everywhere it's perfect for exploring the city on foot. Staff are friendly but unintrusive.
I don't know how best to describe this place, it's not a hostel because you have private, secure rooms. It's not a hotel with staff available 24/7. It's a nice balance between the 2.I was travelling alone on this occasion, but felt perfectly safe and completely comfortable staying here, even though coming back after dark I would recommend a good light on your mobile phone because, once you come in the front door of the building, it's pitch black to try and get the key in the apartment door - remembering this from my last stay I did actually bring a small torch. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the front of the building is currently under renovation - I mentioned in my review in 2013 there was graffiti to the front, but it looks like the cladding has been taken all the way back to the brickwork so I really look forward to seeing how it looks when it's finished because the buildings on Plac Na Groblach really are lovely.Despite the scaffolding and work that was underway when I arrived, I wasn't once disturbed by the workmen, and I was in one of the front rooms with scaffolding in front of my window.I won't hesitate to stay here again when I return to Krakow.
Travellers Inn is on a lovely leafy street, quiet, yet only about 5-10 minutes from Rynek Glowny on foot. The manager (perhaps owner) Zofia is very helpful and kind. Our room was beautiful and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. All the rooms seem to have an old stove - which are pretty to look at even if they don't actually use them in winter. The shared bathroom was also very clean, and the kitchen spotless, with lots of breakfast items available to use.Such great value, at about 45 euro for 3 people in the height of summer. The full kitchen facility is great if you are staying there several nights, and there is also a washing machine should you need to get laundry done.
I had (another) great time at the hostel. The price is amazing, the staff are helpful, friendly and super knowledgable. The hostel itself is clean with great facilities (free breakfast, bikes, internet, washing etc!) and just a few minutes from the castle / old town center, or the jewish bit too. It's small enough not to be a party hostel or full of stags, which is something I hate. Instead you'll find friendly atmosphere where you can go your own way or meet people in the kitchen / living room.Basically one of the best hostels I've stayed at, so I'll for sure be coming back next time I'm passing through Krakow!
